Question about the www.letterboxing.org

From: LindaFay (coachlindafay@yahoo.com) | Date: 2005-07-06 15:55:44 UTC
Lately, every time I do a search for a letterbox, I get an annoying
message that says: The Google Maps API key used on this web site was
registered for a different web site. You can generate a new key for
this web site at http://www.google.com/apis/maps/.

When I go to the google location, it wants me to register my own
website.

Is anyone else getting this Microsoft message?

Thanks
LindaFay

Also, Has anyone visited the Crosswind Marsh letterboxes in MI this
year? They are not listed on LBNA or AQ, but the webpage is still
active. The placer did not return my email - but hey, it is summer.

Choi put Google Maps on the MA box clues, displaying the listed
towns, on an experimental basis. I think the error message happens if
you use http://letterboxing.org instead of
http://www.letterboxing.org, so maybe Choi can add that to the Google API key.

Choi, I also get an "IE cannot display the page, Operation Aborted"
error on the MA box clues pages in IE no matter which URL I use.
Firefox is cool with the page, though.

THANK YOU - I added the www. to my quick link and the problem is gone.
I appreciate you attention.

I think that I've fixed the problem so that you won't see
the annoying message... Sorry about that!

I can't open map pages from IE at all but firefox is ok.
I'll look into it.
